Import/Export

Import data such as general ledger accounts, inventory items, customers, vendors, open transactions during the system implementation process and anytime large amounts of data need to be loaded. Performs all necessary data validations to make sure only valid data is imported. Export all or a subset of records from any table in the company database such as customers, vendors, transactions to a file for transfer to another application.

Import Customers Load customers with billing address, shipping address and all significant configuration settings from a text file. This can be used during initial implementation or later when large amount of customer data needs to be loaded.
Import Vendors Load vendors with address and all significant configuration settings from a text file. This can be used during initial implementation.
Import Items Load inventory items with G/L accounts and settings from a text file. This can be used during initial implementation or at a later time to load parts from CAD systems or other external applications.
Import Customer Transactions Load customer open invoices, credits and other transactions from a text file to eliminate the manual entry of large numbers of records at time of new system implementation. This facility can also be used any time to load historical customer transactions for reference purposes.
Import Vendor Transactions Load vendor open vouchers, debit memos and other transactions from a text file to eliminate the manual entry of large numbers of records at time of new system implementation. This facility can also be used any time to load historical vendor transactions for reference purposes.
Export Database Table Export all or a subset of records from any table in the company database such as customers, vendors, transactions to a file for transfer to another application. Data can be saved in a variety of file formats such as Excel, text file, HTML document, etc. Data can also be saved to the clipboard for pasting directly into another application without saving it to a file.
